Sampling of soil and water: First sampling plans will be devised for each of the commodities to be studied based on detailed assessment of local geology, climate and environment in the typical geographical origin regions of the selected commodities (mineral water, honey, olive oil, grain and lamb). A workshop has to be prepared where all FOM partners involved in the collection of samples attend and standard operating procedures will be discussed in detail. Consequently, all food samples will be taken using harmonised procedures. Sampling of soil and water by the wpa is planned in seven regions in three and four European countries. |
